Summary
The aim of the Lead Safeguarding Officer Development Programme is to provide in depth knowledge and understanding of the Lead Safeguarding Officer role. This 6 module course will equip professionals with the required skills and expertise to provide a consistent, robust and proactive response to safeguarding in sport. This programme will focus on safeguarding in the context of both prevention and response, looking across sporting culture, organisation and environment.
The dates for each module for the next course are as follows:
- Module 1: Wednesday & Thursday 24 & 25 March 2021
- Module 2: Wednesday & Thursday 28 & 29 April 2021
- Module 3: Wednesday & Thursday 19 & 20 May 2021
- Module 4: Tuesday & Wednesday 8 & 9 June 2021
- Module 5: Wednesday & Thursday 23 & 24 June 2021
- Module 6: Tuesday & Wednesday 13 & 14 July 2021

Expressions of Interest
Once the course is full, individuals wishing to book can be added to the Expressions of Interest list and offered a place on the next available course. In the event of a cancellation, a place will be offered to the next person on the list. To be added to this list, please send us an email with stating your Expression of Interest to info@limeculture.co.uk. We will keep you posted when the next dates are announced for this event and if there are any cancellations in the interim. All Expressions of Interest will receive a priority booking form before the course is marketed to the wider network.
