This is a two day workshop and, through case studies will cover topics including:
- The SVLO/SVMLO role and university governance
- Sexual violence terminology, impact, and trauma-informed support
- Managing disclosures
- Risk and referrals
- Safeguarding, confidentiality, and information governance
- Communication and feedback
- Caseload management
- Vicarious trauma
It is not mandatory to delegates to have completed SVLO/SVMLO training.
The SVLO Managers’ Workshop will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday 15 & 16 November 2022.
Course Location
This workshop will be facilitated via an online platform.

Expressions of Interest
Once this training is full, ISVAs wishing to book can be added to the Expressions of Interest list and offered a course on the next available course. In the event of a cancellation, a place will be offered to the next person on the list. To be added to this list, complete an Expression of Interest Form. We will keep you posted when the next dates are announced for this event and if there are any cancellations in the interim. All Expressions of Interest will receive a priority booking form before the course is marketed to the wider network.
