This is a three hour refresher workshop.

Through the Sexual Violence Lens:  Disclosures and First Meetings

This session will cover how to respond to and effectively manage disclosures and initial meetings in the context of the SVLO role. Please note: this workshop isn’t appropriate for those looking for training for staff not involved with ongoing supportive case management (see our ‘First Responder Training’ for more information on this).

Please note:  In order to attend any of the Refresher Workshops you must have attended accredited SVLO Development Programme training.

The SVLO Refresher Workshop – Through the Sexual Violence Lens:  Disclosures and First Meetings  will take place on Monday 3 July 2023 between 1.30pm and 4.30pm.

Course Location

This workshop will be facilitated via an online platform.

Expressions of Interest

Once this training is full, ISVAs wishing to book can be added to the Expressions of Interest list and offered a course on the next available course. In the event of a cancellation, a place will be offered to the next person on the list. To be added to this list, complete an Expression of Interest Form.  We will keep you posted when the next dates are announced for this event and if there are any cancellations in the interim. All Expressions of Interest will receive a priority booking form before the course is marketed to the wider network.
