As the number of universities investing in Sexual Violence Liaison Officer (SVLO) roles continues to grow, we are seeing the emergence of a highly skilled professional workforce dedicated to supporting students and staff who have experienced sexual misconduct.

In response to requests from colleagues across the higher education sector, LimeCulture is delighted to announce the launch of dedicated Professional Networks for SVLOs and SVLO Managers.

These new Professional Networks will provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative space for professionals working in this vital area. Drawing on the success of our existing Professional Networks, the SVLO and SVLO Manager Professional Networks will offer opportunities for members to:

  • Connect with peers from across the higher education sector
  • Share experiences, challenges, and best practice
  • Explore new developments and emerging approaches
  • Access professional learning and development opportunities
  • Strengthen cross-sector collaboration and consistency in practice

The Professional Networks are designed to support the continued evolution of the SVLO role as a recognised and respected professional practice within universities and colleges.

Stephanie Reardon, CEO of LimeCulture, said:

Both Professional Networks are expected to meet quarterly, with the first meetings scheduled to take place online in July 2026.

SVLO and SVLO Managers interested in joining either Professional Network are encouraged to complete the registration form linked below. Full details will be shared with members in advance of the first meeting.
