Independent Pathway Review of Services in Derbyshire for Adult and Child Victims/Survivors of Sexual Violence and Abuse – Derbyshire OPCC, Derbyshire County Council and Derby City Council (August 2021)
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire, NHS England/NHS Improvement Midlands (NHSE&I), and Derbyshire County Council collectively commissioned LimeCulture to conduct an independent pathway review of services for child and adult victims and survivors of sexual violence.
The review identified the current services available for victims and survivors across Derbyshire, gaps in service provision and availability, operational barriers to the delivery and implementation of services, and strategies for achieving effective support responses to victims and survivors of sexual violence. LimeCulture made a series of recommendations to strengthen and embed support pathways for victims/survivors across the county, which have subsequently driven the development of – and been incorporated into – a specific Sexual Abuse Action Plan for Derbyshire.
