Evaluation of the hospital-based ISVA Service Co-ordination Project in Lancashire – Lancashire OPCC (March 2021)
LimeCulture was commissioned by the Lancashire Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner to undertake an independent review of a three-year pilot project in Lancashire to place Independent Sexual Violence Advisers (ISVAs) within a hospital setting.
The pilot aimed to improve integration between victim support services and healthcare pathways, funded by the Home Office Transformation Fund (2018-21) to ensure appropriate support for victims who disclose sexual violence. During the pilot, additional funding was secured from NHS England and Improvement to enable ISVAs to be embedded within all the NHS Hospital Trusts across Lancashire.
