Health Needs Assessment for Therapeutic Trauma Pathways across the South West Region – NHS England and Improvement for South West (August 2021)

NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSEI) commissioned LimeCulture to conduct a regional Needs Assessment for the Sexual Abuse and Assault (SAAS) Therapeutic Pathways in the South West, covering the Police Force Areas of Avon and Somerset, Devon and Cornwall (including the Isles of Scilly), Dorset, Gloucestershire, and Wiltshire.

The needs assessment provided commissioners with a holistic understanding of the SAAS therapeutic pathways in the South West, considering the unique challenges and resources available within each Police Force Area. By leveraging desk-based research alongside direct engagement with stakeholders, LimeCulture developed targeted recommendations that not only addressed overarching regional needs but also account for the nuanced requirements of individual communities within the South West region, thereby fostering more effective and tailored responses to sexual abuse and assault.
