Making a difference: driving social impact
LimeCulture plays a vital and transformative role across multiple sectors, bridging policy, practice, and the lived experiences of victim/survivors. Our core work focuses on training, consultancy, quality assurance, and system development to build capacity across difference sectors. Alongside this, we operate a dedicated social impact model through our Community Interest Company (CIC), enabling us to work directly with the sexual violence sector to deliver meaningful outcomes. This dual approach ensures that we can support the people and organisations who support victim/survivors. This equips them to act with competence, confidence, and compassion, while also allowing LimeCulture to have a direct impact on individuals’ lives.
Our specialist training programmes for Independent Sexual Violence Advisers (ISVAs) and professionals across the voluntary and charity sectors embed trauma-informed practice and consistent safeguarding standards, raising expectations and improving the quality of victim-care nationwide. Initiatives such as the Quality Standards for Services Supporting Male Victims/Survivors address long-standing gaps in provision and our continued professional development training series help ensure that under-served groups receive the support they deserve.
Through LimeCulture’s CIC, our accreditation frameworks and quality marks provide services with the tools to measure, evidence, and continuously improve their practice, creating a culture of accountability and excellence. This consistency means that victim/survivors receive safe, respectful, and effective support, wherever and whenever they seek help. Professionals benefit from clearer role definitions, stronger networks, and improved resilience, reducing burnout and strengthening the sector’s ability to respond sustainably. By reinforcing the entire ecosystem around sexual violence, LimeCulture’s CIC contributes to systemic change, enhances professional capacity, reduces the risk of harm from poor practice, and amplifies victim/survivors’ voices through better-informed and more coordinated services.
Ultimately, LimeCulture’s impact is seen in safer environments, more consistent pathways to justice and recovery, and a sector better equipped to meet the complex realities of sexual violence with empathy, skill, and integrity. Our social impact work ensures that we continue to make a difference in the lives of victims/survivors.
