Rebecca Livesey, Director of Operations
(Executive Director/Board)

Rebecca joined LimeCulture in January 2023, in the newly created role of Director of Operations, established to support the growth and expansion of the organisation. She is responsible for overseeing and managing the Company strategy, and ensuring our organisational infrastructure is fit for purpose to enable sustained high performance, quality assurance and business growth.

Rebecca’s experience spans strategic management, service redesign and expansion, system transformation, business planning, budget management, HR, risk, quality assurance, marketing and communications, and delivering excellence in performance and customer care.

Most of her experience has been gained in the sport and physical activity sector, holding a variety of senior leadership roles in numerous not for profit and charity organisations having previously worked in both local government and the private sector. Prior to joining LimeCulture, Rebecca was the Chief Operating Officer at MCRactive where she was responsible for the delivery of Manchester’s Sport and Physical Activity Strategy, working closely with Sport England, National Governing Bodies of Sport, professional, competitive and community sports Clubs, along with key strategic health partners both regionally and nationally.

As co-founder and former director of GM Active CIC, she played a key role in securing multiple collective commissions that delivered greater impact, efficiencies and outcomes for residents across Greater Manchester. Working alongside partners, she helped drive the renowned Prehab4Cancer programme, which in early 2022 won the national HSJ Partnership Award for Best Not for Profit Working in Partnership with the NHS.
