LimeCulture is the creator of the Sexual Violence Liaison Officer (SVLO) model, a pioneering, trauma-informed internal support service, now embedded in more than 90 universities across the UK. The SVLO model transforms institutional responses to disclosures of sexual violence and misconduct, improving student safety, and increasing confidence in reporting.
Our whole-school approach to tackling sexual abuse, including child on child abuse, brings our expertise across the education system into schools and colleges. By embedding the Sexual Misconduct Liaison Officer (SMLO) model, we ensure that children and young people affected by sexual misconduct can receive consistent, specialist support and improved safeguarding responses.
We reinforce this through the availability of high-quality teacher training on healthy relationships, consent, and related issues across Key Stages 1–5, through our age-appropriate Preventing Sexual Misconduct Education programmes for delivery with children and young people aged 5–18, helping institutions intervene early and effectively and improving the competence and confidence of teachers.

Training courses
Our accredited Sexual Violence Liaison Officer Development Programme (SVLO DP), developed by LimeCulture in collaboration with the university sector, ensures it reflects the realities and challenges of higher education. It aims to equip key staff at universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) with the knowledge and skills to appropriately meet the needs of students and staff affected by sexual violence or misconduct, whether recent or non-recent.
