Building Safer, More Accountable Criminal Justice Practices

LimeCulture works with Criminal Justice System organisations including police, CPS, courts, legal professionals and support services to improve responses to sexual violence and safeguarding. We deliver training and consultancy to embed trauma-informed, victim-centred, and legally sound practices across teams and organisations.

We support internal cultural change, equipping frontline staff, prosecutors, and leaders with skills to handle cases sensitively. We also help commissioners and multi-agency teams enhance survivor support through joint training, expert advice, and service improvement consultancy.

Our work includes independent reviews, workforce engagement, and policy input, helping organisations identify barriers and implement evidence-based improvements. LimeCulture contributes to national and regional steering groups and forums, ensuring survivor voices and trauma-informed approaches shape practice and policy.

By combining subject expertise with a deep understanding of criminal justice systems, we help build confident, credible, and consistent responses that improve outcomes for victims and survivors.

Consultancy customised to your needs

Our work spans independent reviews, workforce engagement, and policy development, providing organisations with the insight and guidance needed to identify barriers, address gaps, and implement evidence-based improvements that enhance safety, accountability, and organisational culture. Through tailored consultations and assessments, we help leaders and staff understand the practical challenges within their settings and develop strategies that are both realistic and sustainable.

By bridging the gap between frontline experience, research, and policy, we support organisations to not only comply with statutory requirements but to create lasting cultural change that prioritises the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of everyone involved.

Training courses

Our accredited Specialist Liaison Officer (SLO) training equips key staff within police forces with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to fulfil this critical role, providing end-to-end, confidential support to officers and staff involved in sexual misconduct cases, whether recent or non-recent.

In addition, we offer a range of training courses delivered through online, face-to-face, and eLearning formats. This includes both core courses and customised in-house programmes, all designed to help participants develop new skills or refresh existing knowledge in practical, relevant, and impactful ways, enabling them to create safer, trauma-informed, and accountable policing environments.

Testimonials

Testimonial by DCI Sherrie Nash
Testimonial by DCI John Moore

“Cambridgeshire Constabulary is committed to improving responses to Rape Investigation. A critical aspect of our strategy is supporting our workforce to develop their investigative mindset alongside understanding and responding to the impact on their own wellbeing. Working with LimeCulture to deliver Trauma Informed Training has been seamless right from the initial development stage through to the delivery phase. The training fully complimented procedural change being embedded within the team and was delivered in an energetic, thought-provoking and respectful manner. Feedback from the team has been really positive with each officer identifying changes they will make to their own practices. Such was the impact on specialist officers that LimeCulture have been commissioned to assist in delivering Trauma Informed Training across the whole of the organisation, which I am confident will be just as successful”.

DCI Sherrie Nash, Cambridgeshire Constabulary

“The training was a massive success and the feedback I have received from officers reflects why I had so much faith in LimeCulture –they said it was interesting, informative, well-delivered and engaging. Officers have recommended to their colleagues that should the opportunity to go on this training comes up again, they should jump at the chance. This is an excellent collaboration and surely makes a new pathway for the future.”
