Sexual Violence Liaison Officer (SVLO/SVMLO) National Conference 2023 – Knowledge and Network

LimeCulture’s 3rd UK-wide Conference for Sexual Violence Liaison Officers (SVLOs) will take place on Thursday 9 November 2023.

Join SVLOs/SVMLOs from across the country to share best practice in responding to sexual violence, discuss the challenges facing universities and the Higher Education sector today, and expand your professional networks.

Delegates will hear from Universities UK and AMOSSHE, the Student Services Organisation, about recent developments around sexual violence and misconduct impacting higher education, and from SVLOs at the University of Greenwich, University of Law and the University of Manchester about the work they’re doing to support those affected by sexual violence and misconduct.

LimeCulture is also excited to be launching new guidance for higher education about the SVLO model, and we’ll also be reflecting on some of the challenges we’ve experienced at the intersection of university sport, safeguarding and sexual violence.

We received many fantastic nominations for the Awards, which are testament to the depth, breadth and quality of the work going on across Higher Education to prevent and respond to sexual violence.
