Summary
The aim of the Lead Safeguarding Officer Development Programme is to provide in depth knowledge and understanding of the Lead Safeguarding Officer role. This 6 module course will equip professionals with the required skills and expertise to provide a consistent, robust and proactive response to safeguarding in sport. This programme will focus on safeguarding in the context of both prevention and response, looking across sporting culture, organisation and environment.
The dates for each module for the next course are as follows:
- Module 1 – Wednesday & Thursday 4 & 5 September 2024
- Module 2 – Wednesday & Thursday 2 & 3 October 2024
- Module 3 – Wednesday & Thursday 6 & 7 November 2024
- Module 4 – Wednesday & Thursday 4 & 5 December 2024
- Module 5 – Wednesday & Thursday 8 & 9 January 2025
- Module 6 – Wednesday & Thursday 5 & 6 February 2025
