We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Safeguarding in Sport Manager  to support the delivery of the two sport strategic priorities in LimeCulture’s three-year strategic plan. The Safeguarding in Sport Manager will be tasked with helping to grow our reputation, services and front-line prevention training in Safeguarding in Sport.

In detail the Safeguarding in Sport Manager will be required to undertake the following:

Projects

  • Manage the Sport England Safeguarding in Sport Case Management pilot project including the reporting requirements to Sport England
  • Support the development of the Safeguarding in Sport Lead Officer Training pilot project including roll out and evaluation
  • Support the Director of Safeguarding in Sport to scope the needs for a Sexual Violence Liaison Officer model for the sporting sector
  • Scope the needs for a Safeguarding in Sport Lead Officer annual conference and lead on the implementation of the finding

Training and Consultancy

  • Support the development of income generating activities for the Safeguarding in Sport Unit through a range of training and consultancy initiatives and identification of funding opportunities both nationally and internationally
  • Manage contracts with our current sporting partners by liaising with external stakeholders and develop quarterly and annual reports against the contracts for use internally and externally
  • Develop and implement a quality assurance framework for our sports training contracts
  • Deliver a range of training activities (online, face to face, national and international) to a diverse range of sporting audiences Assist with the writing and management of tender bids related to sport

Development Work

  • Explore the links between sporting activities and the response to sexual violence in the charitable sector (Sport for Development) and develop a plan of action with the support of the Director of Safeguarding in Sport
  • Identify and seek work with new sporting partners in the delivery of our Healthy Relationships Programme in line with the targets in our strategic plan
  • Support activities across the organisation including leading on other areas of the business when necessary
  • Support in the delivery of the organisation’s social media and marketing activity in relation to the Safeguarding in Sport Unit
