The Big Lottery support LimeCulture & National Ugly Mugs to deliver ‘Criminal Justice Awareness Raising’ Workshops

LimeCulture is delighted to announce that we will be working in partnership with the award winning charity National Ugly Mugs to deliver a series of 1-day training workshops to support sex work projects to help their clients who may be (or are considering becoming) involved with the criminal justice system.

It is widely recognised that sex workers are particularly vulnerable to criminals, who will often target them. Therefore, it is crucial that support services are aware of the criminal justice system and how best to support their clients without compromising a criminal trial or any future legal proceedings.

Based on the key elements of LimeCulture’s Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ISVA) Development Programme, this 1-day competency-based workshop will equip professionals to provide support for sex workers who may become victims of crime.

National Ugly Mugs and LimeCulture will be delivering a series of 1-day workshops in 3 different locations during May, June and July 2015. The training is supported by the Big Lottery, which has allowed for reduced delegates rates. Third Sector organisations are entitled to one free place for each professional who books the training.
