LimeCulture establishes Professional Network for ISVA Managers

Over the last 12-18 months, LimeCulture has received multiple requests to establish a Professional Network that brings together Managers from the range of ISVA services operating across England and Wales. We are delighted to have now secured funding that will allow us to take this initiative forward.

LimeCulture already hosts a Professional Network for sexual violence service Commissioners and a Professional Network for ISVAs supporting people with Learning Disabilities. Both Professional Networks have been operating for more than a year and are extremely well attended. Furthermore, LimeCulture has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from members as to their value.

LimeCulture are keen to adopt a similar approach to a Professional Network for ISVA Managers that will:

  • enable Managers of ISVA Services to share ideas, learning and information to build confidence and capability,
  • explore issues, emerging trends, and best practice to strengthen the response to sexual violence in the context of ISVA Services,
  • create a safe and confidential space to problem-solve with peers,
  • promote collaboration and co-production, driving new and innovative ways of working,
  • support Network Members to reduce professional isolation and better maintain their personal and professional well-being,
  • pool local knowledge and expertise to inform the national policy context.

We are very keen to ensure that this opportunity is available to all Managers of ISVA services across England and Wales – irrespective of service type or size, commissioning/funding arrangements and/or membership/umbrella organisation affiliations – and that Managers are involved in driving the agenda for their Professional Network going forward.

LimeCulture are currently consulting with Managers of ISVA services to ensure that we can establish a Professional Network that brings the best possible value and have already sent out a short consultation survey to the ISVA services who are known to LimeCulture. However, we want to ensure that all ISVA Services Managers have the chance to join the Professional Network and help shape it, so if you are the Manager of an ISVA Service, please email Holli.Waterson@limeculture.co.uk who will send you a copy of the consultation survey and provide you with further information about the Professional Network.

Thank you!
