LimeCulture CIC has been funded by the Home Office to deliver the Spreading Excellence Programme for 2020-21.
This year we were asked by the Home Office to focus on support services for children and young people who have experienced child sexual abuse (CSA), to align with the Home Office Tackling CSA Strategy (2021)
National Working Group
The project was overseen by a National Working Group. Membership is drawn from a range of professionals working in child sexual abuse (CSA) including includes policy leads, academics, service providers and commissioners.
Workshops
The project included a series of workshops that examined commissioning and providing services and multi-agency working, to meet the needs of children and young people who have experienced child sexual abuse (CSA).
With expert speakers addressing each workshop, participants worked together to identify the main challenges within these key areas, and sought to identify solutions and/or best practice.
Symposium
The report of findings from the project, alongside a series of related recommendations to policy makers, commissioners and providers will be presented at a free online symposium via Zoom on the 30th March, starting at 10am.

The symposium will include a panel discussion with experts from:
- Lincolnshire Office of Police and Crime Commissioner
- The LightHouse, London
- Imara, Nottingham
- The Green House, Bristol
- Centre of expertise on child sexual abuse (CSA Centre)

Strategic Leads in CSA support services (CHISVA, Children and Young People Counselling Services and Social Care Safeguarding Leads), Commissioners of CSA services and Researchers in Practice.
